Hi, I’m Bethany, broadcasting from Wilmington, NC, where I live with my husband Chris and our Frenchton, Romy. With our son now off at college in Lakeland, FL, the house feels a little quieter — the perfect setting to dive into the world of storytelling and the unexplained. When I’m not recording, I teach music, sing, play guitar and ukulele, and find inspiration in nature’s quiet corners.

Experiences early in my life opened my eyes to the strange and unexplainable, sparking a lifelong fascination with the paranormal. Through my podcast, I invite others to explore those mysteries with me — to be entertained, to wonder, and to remember. In Season 1, I return to my family’s hometown to recount its chilling, true possession cases — reviving the old tradition of gathering by the glow of a porch light to listen, imagine, and believe.

I’m Emily, also a Watseka native but on the opposite coast. I’m Bethany's sidekick and vocal talent, always attempting to channel the best in spirit spunk. I’ve spent most of my professional life in marketing, which is funny, because I hate sales. Something I've always loved, though, is getting lost in a good story — especially ones wrapped in mystery, strange happenings, or anything that feels like it would have made a good X-Files episode. These days, I live in beautifully spooky and moody western Washington with my husband, two greyhounds, two cats, and one sourdough starter.
